Yoga is a series of postures and controlled breathing exercises to promote a more flexible body and a calm mind. As you move through poses that require balance and concentration, you’re encouraged to focus less on your busy day and more on the moment.
What is Mindfulness Meditation?
Mindfulness Meditation is a connection of mind, body, and breath to create a deeper inner focus and relaxation experience. The effectiveness of meditation comes from this deep relaxation to increase awareness and acceptance of being in the present moment.
What is a Strength Conditioning class?
This class uses light weights and body weight to build muscular and cardiovascular endurance.
What is Yoga BASICS?
This class will offer guidance on the fundamental postures of Yoga, teaching one how to develop techniques that will allow the flow of their yoga practice to be most beneficial. Techniques such as form and alignment, breathing, modifications , as well as learning how to listen to the body.

Meet our Wellness Coach: Tammy Kanning, RYT
Tammy is a long time San Antonio/ Boerne area resident. She is passionate about health and wellness and has worked in the industry since 2008. Her studies include Personal Training and Group Fitness, Yoga, and the art of Mindfulness and meditation.
She is a Registered Yoga Trainer (RYT) and Licensed Fitness Professional in Primary Group Fitness, as well as member of The National Yoga Alliance and Athletic & Fitness Association of America.
