Jennifer Harris PA-C

Jennifer grew up in small-town Texas but has lived in San Antonio since 2003. She spent many years working in biological anthropology and genetics research before pursuing a career as a physician assistant. This background instilled in her a healthy regard for current science and treatment modalities as well as a holistic approach towards medicine–that is, consideration of all aspects of a patient’s life, including religion and culture, and how this affects their physical and mental health. Jennifer believes in listening closely to her patients and giving them the tools and information they need to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Education

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Southwest Texas State University where she graduated summa cum laude, a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she received the Physician Assistant Studies Outstanding Student Award and the Dr. A. David Mangelsdorff Student Service Award. She resides in San Antonio with her husband, two children, two dogs, and many plants.
